Get it Right on Bin Night!
Victorians are great recyclers, but we can improve. Research shows that our household rubbish bins contain items that could have been recycled. Across Victoria the equivalent of around 450,000 wheelie bins full of recycling ends up in landfill each week. What a waste.
Get it Right on Bin Night is a statewide campaign that supports improved recycling from Victorian Households. By making a few simple changes around the home you can help reduce waste to landfill.
Check you’re getting it right at home, watch the TV adverts, learn about the commingled recycling process, find out what’s happening in your council and take action to show your commitment to recycling.
